Our root sets back from the early 1990s, when our company founder revolutionized the shrimp industry of Bangladesh through his establishment of Bangladesh’s first commercial shrimp hatchery of the Black-tiger shrimp species- Pioneer Hatchery Ltd. As a passion for aquaculture, he has worked his way through various designation and ventures in this field for the past 3 decades and gradually enlarging the vision to Agriculture at general.
Agribusiness Enterprise Development & Services (ABEDS) was established in 2010 with the vision and broad spectrum of engaging its role in Agriculture at general: Crops, Livestock, Fisheries, Forests, Fibres, Biomass & Services. Through its journey, “Agribusiness enterprise” has been playing its role as an importer & distributor of shrimp larval diets, feeds, accessories & equipment in the shrimp industry of Bangladesh as well as a producer of the native (P.monodon) Black-tiger shrimp in its project in Cox’s Bazar and a commodity trader in country’s port city-Chattogram.
From 2018 onwards, agribusiness enterprise has been incorporated to a registered partnership company under the process of reorganization and restructure as a “Family Business”. While this family-oriented structure of organization lends the unique quality of integrity, ethics and unity to AGRIBUSINESS, it also adds diversity by way of the varied competence and professionalism of the collective. The symbiosis of the family values of collective strength and common goals and objectives reinforce AGRIBUSINESS with cohesion and cogency in policy formulation and actions on the ground. With young minds stepping towards and taking up the role and functions in management, AGRIBUSINESS ENTERPRISE is developing its management every now and then towards a holistic management structure with the dimension of employees taking responsibilities and forming up a professional mechanism to compete in the world of today. We are committed to work in the fields of the agricultural industries of Bangladesh to create a sustainable future of tomorrow.
